Event Details

The rapid use of current technologies and exponential rise of emerging ones are bringing governments to invest in digital economies as part of their socioeconomic agendas to bring investments, generate jobs, and spur growth and development. Likewise, DICT is looking at ways of attracting the same benefits by investing in the Philippines' budding digital economy.

Join us for this luncheon meeting and listen to Undersecretary Monchito Ibrahim present what DICT has in store to achieve such goals, namely achieving universal, affordable, and quality internet connectivity by introducing the third new major player (NMP) in the industry; investment opportunities in Next Wave Cities; the growing role of emerging technologies to the future workforce; updates on PH IT-BPM Roadmap 2022 amidst the TRABAHO bill; and other priorities and initiatives of the department.
